Susie Harvey creates landscapes and seascapes in watercolour and acrylic, as well as stained glass for the house and garden.
Susie grew up in Tavistock, Devon, and has always loved the moorlands and coasts of Devon and Cornwall. These places still provide much of the inspiration for her work.
Susie has thoroughly enjoyed drawing, painting and creating all her life, initially working mainly in textiles, and later also working with stained glass and silver-smithing. It was only after taking early retirement from teaching that she was able to pursue painting more seriously.
